Simba: King of the PrideLands

Nala: Queen of the PrideLands, Simba's mate

Kopa, Shani, and Chaka: Three older children of Simba who met tragic ends.

Aisha: The oldest of Simba and Nala's twins. Aisha is fun loving but also dutiful and wants to do good for the kingdom, like a proper Queen. But her father's choke hold and her sister's naïve ways slowly is pushing the young princess to the breaking point and she longs to get away.

Kiara: Young of the twins. Kiara is pretty much an airhead and naïve. She brave but foolish and tends to not listen to her father, her mess ups tend to result in both girls being kept at home. Aisha cares a lot for her, but she is starting to feel that it's time Kiara learns how to be a big girl now.

Obhejane ('rhino'): A young male lion who lives in the South of Africa, just past the Land of Lawless. He is noble, strong, but also has a gentle side and tends to show affection no matter the risk (due to family practices).
